Zur Herstellung dieses Artikels wurden Bio-Baumwolle und Modal verwendet. Die hier eingesetzten Modalfasern wurden mit der speziellen Edelweiss® Technologie der Firma Lenzing® hergestellt. Bei diesem Verfahren wird Zellulose aus nachwachsendem Buchenholz herausgelöst und zu Modalfasern weiterverarbeitet. Die Herstellung ist energie- und ressourcenschonend. Fast alle der eingesetzten Chemikalien können rückgewonnen und wiederverwertet werden, sodass ein Kreislaufsystem entsteht.
