Dieser Artikel wurde zum Großteil aus Lyocell (Tencel®) der Firma Lenzing hergestellt. Lyocell ist eine Regeneratfaser, d.h. sie wird aus natürlicher Zellulose hergestellt. Die Zellstoffe stammen aus nachwachsendem Eukalyptusholz aus nachhaltiger Forstwirtschaft. In einem patentierten Verfahren wird die Zellulose aus dem Eukalyptusholz gelöst und zu Lyocellfasern weiterverarbeitet. Bei der Herstellung wird der Energie- und Rohstoffeinsatz auf ein Minimum reduziert, sodass diese besonders umweltfreundlich ist.
