Our measurements for the environment

Sustainable Collection

Our collections not only look beautiful, but they are also made of high-quality materials without chemical additives: We rely on renewable raw materials such as organic cotton and TENCEL™ and recycled materials such as recycled polyester. Our products are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified and comply with Textile Exchange's Organic Content Standard. Those who wear MANDALA leave a much smaller CO2 footprint than with fast fashion goods.

Avoidance of overproduction

We only produce on demand: our latest collection can be ordered twice a year. In this way, we avoid overproduction and protect the environment. Unlike fair fashion, we do not destroy returns. We check all returned items carefully and try to include all returns back in our stock and sell them off if possible. For us, this is not only an act of sustainability, but also an appreciation for the work of everyone involved in production - and therefore self-evident.

Plastic-free packaging

In the production of our collection, we deliberately avoid packaging in commercially available polybags (plastic packaging). Instead, each style is delivered to us in a bag made of FSC-certified paper. For the shipping of the orders, we lovingly wrap all styles in tissue paper. Depending on the size of the order, our goods are then packed in boxes or shipping bags made of FSC-certified natural paper for protection.

Certifications

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)

Our organic cotton comes from controlled organic farming. The social standards for all those involved in the production process are observed.

Compliance with the criteria is regularly checked by accredited testing institutes - even unannounced.

Vegan

Animal welfare is just as important to us as that of people. That's why the majority of our yoga and pilates fashion does not contain any animal ingredients.

We label our vegan styles transparently so that they are easily recognizable. To achieve this, we rely on selected materials such as organic cotton, TENCEL™ Lyocell and recycled fibers.

Organic Content Standard (OCS)

The Organic Content Standard aims to strengthen trust in ecological products. Therefore, this standard guarantees that the exact proportion of biological components of a product can be recorded and transparently tracked via the value chain.

Among other things, our fabrics Tencel ™ and Modal are certified with OCS blended.

Global Recycled Standard (GRS)

The Global Recycled Standard is an international, voluntary, full product standard. It is used by companies that use recycling materials and want to ensure that ecological and chemical requirements are observed in production.

Our recycled polyester is manufactured according to the GRS.

TENCEL™ by Lenzing

We have been working with Lenzing in Austria for many years for the production of our TENCEL™ and modal fabrics. The materials come from sustainable forestry.

A special feature are our printed leggings made of TENCEL™, with which we can offer an ecological alternative to polyester.

Repreve

The American company Repreve recycles PET bottles that have been collected in the environment and produces a high-quality polyester fiber from them.

For each of our polyester leggings, 12 plastic bottles are recycled.

Fairness

We maintain long-standing business relationships with our producers and repeatedly convince ourselves on-site of the working conditions. Additionally, all our production sites are OCS certified.
