Observing a respectful approach towards humans and nature – unfortunately, this guiding principle has hardly influenced the fashion industry. With us though, it is standard. We are proud that we create high-quality Yoga fashion under fair working conditions. In our factories in Turkey and China, each article of our collection is caringly produced. Respectful responsibility towards our resources plus fair pay are part of our top-priority standard.

Not only are women in the majority in purchasing textiles but also in their production, where most of them are being exploited. They earn only a fraction of what they would need to live on and they work between 60 and 140 hours unpaid overtime per month. Social security and maternal care are not possible. For us at MANDALA, it is important to provide fair working conditions for all those involved in the production of textiles. Feminism should not stop at the borders of the Western world, rather it should even be stronger in places where women most in need of support are concerned. The sales price of a 5 € T-shirt cannot provide for a secure wage to live on. Therefore, we calculate our prices so that neither environment nor persons are taken advantage of by the production of our clothing.

Mutual trust and transparency are beneficial for all concerned. We regularly check our standards personally on site and give our foremost attention to what is close to our heart: Fairness and great products!

We maintain longstanding partnerships with our suppliers, who we greatly value. Thus, Premium Yoga Fashion in fair-fashion quality can be created, which is not only beneficial for the wearer, but also to all those involved as well.

How do you ensure compliance with working conditions?

Due to the certifications, the working conditions are guaranteed by an independent test company. Checks take place partly without prior notice.

We also visit our producers regularly and convince ourselves of the working conditions on site.

Our production facility Jiecco in China belongs u. A. Philipp Langer, the husband of our founder Nathalie Prieger, together with Linda Chen, so that we are very well informed about the working conditions there.
